Horse Feathers

The Portland band Horse Feathers will present a selection of its original Americana and folk at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland.

The band, which is touring in support of its fourth album, "Cynic's New Year," released in April, features singer and songwriter Justin Ringle on guitar and vocals, along with Nathan Crockett on violin, mandolin and saw, Dustin Dybvig on drums and piano, Lauren Vidal on cello and Angie Uzma on violin.

Old-time folk musician Frank Fairfield will sit in with the band, playing fiddle, guitar and banjo, and local group Kites & Crows will open the show.
