 Posted: 12:10 PM December 07, 2012

Ashland's Boy Scout Troop 112 will kick off its 54th annual Christmas tree sale from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the Elks Lodge parking lot at Lithia Way and First Street, Ashland.

The troop will sell Noble fir trees from a tree farm. Scouts will be on-hand to carry trees to cars and tie them on top, if needed. Prices range from $10 to $50.

Boy Scout Troop 112, which was first chartered in 1915 and is the oldest troop in Oregon, has sold trees in Ashland since 1958.

Troop 112 and the Ashland Lion's Club Christmas tree recycling is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 5.
