Police reports

Tuesday, 11:01 a.m. — 25-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Ashland Municipal Court for second-degree failure to appear.

Tuesday, 1:50 p.m. — 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting from the Market of Choice on the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Tuesday, 4:47 p.m. — Police received a report of theft from the 200 block of East Main Street.

Wednesday, 1:23 a.m. — 23-year-old man was arrested for driving while under the influence of controlled substances after he was found to be too impaired to safely operate a motor vehicle. He was cited and released to a sober adult.

Fire reports

Tuesday, 8:37 a.m. — Power line down at 300 North Main Street.

Tuesday, 10:12 a.m. — Central station, malicious false alarm in the 900 block of Skylark Place.

Tuesday, 11:17 a.m. — Smoke detector activation, no fire, in the 2100 block of Greenmeadows Way.

Tuesday, 2:33 p.m. — No incident found on arrival at dispatch address in the 2300 block of Ashland Street.

Tuesday, 4:05 p.m. — EMS call to the 500 block of North Main Street.

Tuesday, 8:31 a.m. — EMS call to the 900 block of Skylark Place.

Tuesday, 10:52 p.m. — Public service assist at Church and Baum Streets.

Wednesday, 12:37 a.m. — EMS call to the 200 block of Maple Street.

Wednesday, 1:08 a.m. — EMS call to the 2200 block of Villard Street.

Wednesday, 7:23 a.m. — Natural vegetation fire in the 100 block of Walker Avenue at Ashland Middle School.

Wednesday, 7:36 a.m. — Motor vehicle crash on Interstate 5 northbound at milepost 17.
