Talent Middle School teacher Heather Ayers (guitar) and retired Ashland Middle School teachers Lynn Kunstman (lead vocals) and Kathy Yeoman (guitar) formed Kahely last spring after getting together to play Celtic music for St. Patrick's Day.

The collaboration stuck, and the women expanded their repertoire to include folk, rock and country songs by The Wailin' Jennys, Indigo Girls, James Taylor, Bob Dylan and others.

Until now, the trio has played house concerts, private gigs and elder-care facilities, but will make its bar/pub debut at 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Paddy Brannan's Irish Pub, 23 S. Second St., Ashland.

The show at Paddy Brannan's is free. Call 541-488-7973.
