Ashland police are asking for help identifying a teen seen on surveillance footage breaking a glass doors at Rite Aid and taking money from one of the registers.
At 4:23 a.m. Monday, a burglary at the Ashland Rite Aid store,2341 Ashland St., was reported to the Ashland Police Department. A young man, possibly a teen, used a wrench-like tool to break a window and get inside, causing about $1,000 in damage. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from inside the store.
Prior to breaking into the Rite Aid, the same person attempted to gain entry into the Albertsons, located in the same shopping plaza, without success.
