  • Drug enforcement agents are back in the Applegate Valley, this time raiding gardens in the 800 block of Left Fork Humbug Creek Road, according to Lori Duckworth, executive director of the Southern Oregon chapter of the National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws.
Spokespersons for the FBI and Oregon State Police would not confirm any details about the raid while it was still under investigation. Duckworth was near the property during the raid and said there were three growing sites associated with the property and that the neighbors speculated that there were about 300 plants being seized.
According to Duckworth, the growers were not associated with SONORML. The last known raid by Drug Enforcement Administration agents was Sept. 18 at High Hopes Farm, a well-known medical marijuana garden in Ruch.
More information will be released as it becomes available.
