See the watershed logging work

The public is inivted to view progress on the Ashland Forest Resiliency Stewardship Project on a tour from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.

The tour will be led in the forests of the Ashland watershed where excess trees are being thinned. Participants will see the commercial thinning work and steps taken to protect habitat for the Pacific fisher and northern spotted owl and geological integrity of streams and steep slopes.
