Police and fire reports October 4

Police reports

Tuesday, 6:26 a.m. — Someone destroyed the "Welcome to Ashland" sign on North Main Street.

Tuesday, 8:01 a.m. — Officers responded to a report of vandalism and possible burglary on the 2900 block of Highway 66 at Oregon Equipment Rental.

Tuesday, 11:04 a.m. — 42-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for second-degree disorderly conduct.

Tuesday, 5:21 p.m. — Police took a report of a stolen vehicle on the 1600 block of Ashland Street.

Tuesday, 6:23 p.m. — 36-year-old man was arrested on a valid Ashland Municipal Court arrest warrant for second-degree criminal trespass.

Tuesday, 10:58 p.m. — Someone stole a cellphone and two wallets from purses during a function at the Unitarian Church on Fourth Street.

Fire reports

Tuesday, 8:34 a.m. — Smoke detector activation, no fire on the 1100 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Tuesday, 1:35 p.m. — EMS call to the 200 block of Maple Street.

Tuesday, 4:37 p.m. — EMS call to the 200 block of Maple Street.

Tuesday, 5:53 p.m. — Building fire on the 100 block of Fourth Street.

Tuesday, 6:10 p.m. — EMS call to the 500 block of North Main Street.

Tuesday, 9:47 p.m. — Smoke detector activation, no fire on the 500 block of North Main Street.
