The Ashland High volleyball team went up against one of the state's best Class 6A programs on Thursday at Mountain Avenue Gym.
Roseburg's defense wouldn't let the Grizzlies (4-4) get into their offensive rhythm as the Indians turned in a 25-14, 25-19, 25-13 victory.
Indians star outside hitter Anna Bruns posted 10 kills and setter Vanessa Bentley contributed 23 assists and six aces.
Roseburg's Pele Gianotti added six kills and Stefanie Griggs four. Roseburg improved to 17-3.
