Ashland and Medford police have arrested two men who allegedly pulled out guns during a fight early this morning at O'Ryan's Irish Pub in Ashland.
No one was hurt during the incident, which happened around 2 a.m. on a back porch behind the establishment and in the alley below, which is also known as Will Dodge Way.
One man, 28-year-old Daveon Fleming, fled the scene. Police tracked him to Medford and arrested him at 8:30 a.m. on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
The other man, Deshawn Winzer, was arrested following an attempted getaway and fight with police on Will Dodge Way at about 2:30 a.m.
"He had to be restrained and taken to the ground," Ashland police Sgt. Tighe O'Meara said.
Winzer was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, removing the serial numbers from a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. Both men were lodged at the Jackson County Jail, where they remain this afternoon.
Police still do not know specifics about what led up to the fight, but said that the men do know each other.
