Watch for frost overnight

Just when it seemed as though winter weather might finally have departed, Medford forecasters are predicting it could return at least once more this week.

The National Weather Service in Medford issued a frost advisory effective from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. Tuesday for Jackson and Josephine counties, including Medford, Ashland and Grants Pass.

Temperatures could drop to the mid to lower 30s overnight today and maybe overnight Tuesday as well, they say.

The chill could be cold enough to kill sensitive outdoor plants.
