Wednesday 11:06 a.m. — An unknown person turned in a cell phone found in the Ashland area. It was stored in police lost and found.

Wednesday 12:45 p.m. — A 22-year-old woman was arrested for theft after she was caught shoplifting at Market of Choice.

Wednesday 1:49 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a pending disturbance on the plaza in the first block of North Main Street. Officers determined that the disturbance was regarding the theft of an iPod, and the case is under investigation.

Wednesday 3:35 p.m. — Police received a Department of Human Services cross report and found no evidence of criminal activity.

Wednesday 6:14 p.m. — Police received a report of a deceased elderly man in the 700 block of Glendale Avenue. The death appeared to be from natural causes.

Thursday 12:39 a.m. — Police arrested a 31-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Oregon Street. He was transported to the police department where he was cited and released.
