Police and fire reports Nov 6

Thursday 11:03 p.m. — Police received a report of physical harassment from Lithia Springs Girls Home in the 600 block of Mistletoe Road.

Thursday 1:10 p.m. — Police checked on two dogs reported as abandoned at the dog park in the first block of West Nevada Street.

Thursday 2:19 p.m. — Police arrested a 28-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants in front of Helman School after a witness reported the woman's reckless driving near Helman and Randy streets. She later refused to submit a breath test.

Thursday 8:29 p.m. — Police observed a woman operate a motorized bicycle as she ran through two red traffic lights in the downtown area. Police stopped her on Lithia Way and Helman Street, and found that her license was misdemeanor suspended. She was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device and a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended.

Friday 12:03 a.m. — Police arrested a 25-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants after she was in a motor vehicle crash on Siskiyou Boulevard and Indiana Street.

Friday 12:29 a.m. — Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the Ashland area. During the investigation, the man was taken into protective custody and transported to the Rogue Valley Medical Center Psychiatric Care Unit for a mental health evaluation.

Friday 5:07 a.m. — A woman reported a motor vehicle collision involving an Ashland Fire and Rescue apparatus and a vehicle in the 1400 block of Tolman Creek Road during the Siskiyou fire that the woman discovered at a later date. The case is closed.

Thursday 7:39 p.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 200 block of Gibson Street.

Thursday 7:42 p.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 200 block of South Mountain Avenue.

Friday 12:04 a.m. — AFR responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries in the 1900 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Friday 1:04 a.m. — AFR responded to an emergency medical services call in the 700 block of South Mountain Avenue.
