Two bus routes in Jacksonville will be moved to early morning and a mini-route will be added in Ashland as part of changes announced Tuesday by Rogue Valley Transportation District.
In Ashland, the new Route 15, purchased by the city of Ashland, will provide 15-minute service between the Plaza, Tolman Creek Road and Southern Oregon University.
Regular fares in Ashland will increase from 50 cents to $1.
Passengers can request a transfer good for 90 minutes to ride any Ashland bus again for free.
Buses on Route 30 to and from Jacksonville will leave the Front Street Station in Medford at 6:15 a.m. and 7 a.m., returning to Medford at 6:52 a.m. and 7:37 a.m., respectively.
The new times will allow riders to reach jobs in Medford by 8 a.m., an RVTD press release said. They replace slightly later times.
