  • Tuesday 9:10 a.m. — An Ashland Library employee found an abandoned bicycle locked to the bike rack behind the library. The bike was believed to have been there for six months, and the bike was stored in police lost and found.
    Tuesday 5:29 p.m. — A 42-year-old man assaulted his pregnant girlfriend by throwing a pair of sunglasses at her in the 2200 block of Siskiyou Blvd. The sunglasses struck her on the side of her stomach and caused visible injury, and the man was arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail.
    Tuesday 5:59 p.m. — Police arrested a 29-year-old man at the Ashland Street Subway for an Ashland warrant. He was cited and released.

    Tuesday 4:58 p.m. — Rescuers responded to a medical emergency in the 300 block of Butler Creek Road.
    Tuesday 11:48 p.m. — Ashland Fire responded to a report of arcing, shorted electrical equipment in the 300 block of Walker Avenue.
