Ashland struggled to finish off drives in a 20-0 loss to the Japan All-Stars in Pacific Rim Bowl XI Sunday at Osaka, Japan.
The win gives Japan, which has won the last five PRB games, a 6-5 lead in the all-time series, which dates back to 1988.
The Grizzlies couldn't cash in on several scoring opportunities, including a second and goal from the 1-yard line and a first and 10 from the 10.
Japan led 7-0 at the half and 14-0 after completing a 55-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter.
