Police reports July 1

Thursday 1:53 a.m. — Police arrested a 43-year-old man for violating his probation.

Thursday 7:13 p.m. — A Medford police officer placed a 46-year-old man in custody at the request of an Ashland police officer after the man violated a restraining order by contacting a woman at her place of business on Lithia Way.

Thursday 4:09 p.m. — A citizen turned in a cell phone found in the Ashland area. The phone was turned into police lost and found.

Thursday 4:09 p.m. — Police responded to a known financial institution on East Main Street for a report of fraud.

Ashland Fire & Rescue

Thursday 4:04 p.m. — A fire detector was activated unintentionally on the 200 block of East Main Street. There was no fire.

Thursday 5:42 p.m. — Ashland Fire & Rescue responded to a medical emergency at the 100 block of South Pacific Highway.

Thursday 6:12 p.m. — A fire alarm was pulled in error at the 4000 block of South Pacific Highway.

Thursday 6:49 p.m. — Ashland Fire & Rescue responded to a medical emergency at the 300 block of Clay Street.
