The ever-evolving Pegi Smith
In addition to being a professional musician, sculptress and ceramist, Pegi Smith has now become a prolific painter.
The Ever-Evolving Pegi Smith is a combination exhibit and sale at Gallerie Karon, 500 A Street, #1.
The exhibit showcases Smith's newer ceramic sculptures and new-found artistry as a painter of acrylic abstracts.
In describing her paintings, Smith says they take on the ever-evolving essence of her spirit, evolving with every layer of color. "Within the first layer, the journey begins," she says. "The mystery unfolds as each layer beholds a new image."
Smith's full-size ceramics have been exhibited and sold all over the United States and were featured in Ashland magazine's winter issue.
The Ever-Evolving Pegi Smith exhibit runs through the month of October.
