Colleen Ireland Rutchland
"Coco" Rutchland (37) passed away at her Maui residence on Tuesday Morning Feb. 3, 2004.

She was born in Ashland on Oct. 22, 1966; the daughter of the late Richard and Gloria Ireland. She grew up in the Valley View area on her parent's ranch. She attended Ashland schools and graduated from Ashland High in 1984.

On May 28, 1988 she married Ryan Rutchland in Ashland, a painting contractor. The couple had two sons. Coco loved her friends and family greatly. She was involved in the activities of her two boys. She was a wonderful hostess who loved to entertain at her homes in Talent and Medford. Two years ago the family moved to Maui. She worked as a salesclerk.

Mrs. Rutchland is survived by her husband Ryan and sons Kyle and Corey; her three sisters, Carri Six, Connie Ireland, and Corinne Griffin; her brother, Rick Ireland; her grandmother Marie Ireland; her stepmothers, Emma Veary and Serene Ireland; her four stepsisters, Robyn, Kathy, Emily and Liz. She was a joy to us all.

Joseph Pusey
Joseph Pusey, age 48, died at his home in Corvallis, Feb. 2, 2004. Joseph was born June 28, 1955 in Santa Monica, CA to Charles and Jerry (Murray-Aaron) Pusey.

Joseph began playing music at age 7 and played in may Los Angeles bands in the early 1970's. He released a solo album "In My Lady's Chamber" in 1977 and was well known in Oregon and around the globe for his original songs and Middle Eastern music. He was a founding member of Brothers of the Baladi in the late 1970's.

He was musical director for the Oregon Country Fair Gypsy Caravan Stage and Troupe Bayt Al Nejmah. His music was especially well known up and down the Pacific coast. His music and love of life are an inspiration to us all. He was a Mental Health Aide at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center where he was highly instrumental in establishing the union Local 49 of the SEIU.

Joseph is survived by his wife Joanna; daughters, Celisse and Emily; son, Tad; Mother, Jerry; brothers, John and Randy; sisters, Mindy, Molly and Kate; grand daughter, Kaileah; cousins, nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Oddfellows Lodge, 223 SW Second Street in Corvallis.
