Frequent visitors to Tou Velle State Park north of Medford have the opportunity to buy a year-long day-use pass good until 2003 for $20.
The annual vehicle permits are on sale through the end of December at the discounted price at all Oregon G.I. Joe's locations, Oregon Parks and Recreation Department offices and at various businesses across the state.
Daily vehicle passes to the park cost $3 a trip, so a year's pass for $20 is a good deal according to Oregon Parks and Recreation Department spokesman Tom Towslee.
"Owning an annual pass is both more economical and convenient for people who visit our day-use fee parks regularly," Towslee said in a prepared statement.
An annual pass is normally good for 12 months from the date of purchase, but a pass bought any time during the remainder of this year will be viable through Jan. 31, 2003.
