The giving tree

Those who wish to give to needy children while promoting literacy this holiday season can take advantage of the Soroptimist Trees of Joy located in area banks and stores. Tree tags can be chosen and then replaced under the tree with new, wrapped books by Dec. 14. Trees in Ashland are located at the Plaza Mall, Market of Choice, Ashland Community Hospital and Umpqua Bank. Tark's Market in Talent also has a tree. Ashland Daily Tidings/DENISE BARATTA
